Since the AE-1 Digital thread got me thinking this.
Still have mine. Other than it needs a new battery, works fine. Although havent taken it out since 2004 when I got my Nikon D70.

Still have mine, as well as it's sibling the AT-1. Both work fine, except for the shutter button on the AT-1. I have to use a cable release on that one.

I just sold mine on Ebay a couple weeks ago. And am now having seller's remorse even though I hadn't used it in at least 15 years.

I figure all my FD mount gear together wouldnt be worth that much, so why bother? I have some sentimental attachment to some of that gear as well.

Yes, I still have mine from back when. I actually still use it for IR film photography. Never needed service, still works as well as on day one.

I inhereted my Grandfather's AE-1 along with three lenses (Canon 28mm 2.8, Canon 50mm 1.8, Vivitar 80-200mm 4.5). I've messed aroud with it a little, but didn't know enough about photography at the time to put it to good use.

Yep, still have my AE-1, plus an A-1 and a T-70 along with around a dozen assorted FD lenses.
Used them pretty solidly from the early '80s until 2005 when I bit the bullet and bought a 20D plus 3 lenses and went digital.
I can't see myself ever selling them, there is a lot of sentimental attachment as we went through a lot together over those 20+ years. For what they would fetch today, I would rather keep them tucked away in their cases in case I want to take them out and play again in the future.

Still have mine. Got it for Christmas in 1978 if I remember correctly. It's still in the same bag with all the lens. Haven't tried to use it in over 15 years.
