I like the smaller version better since I'm not editing it and the full size version has some dust (literally) I'm not fond of..but dunno...

BTW, it's not a macro image... it's just a picture taken of a ribbed glass wavy light fixture in my bathroom. Apparently poorly taken since the fixture isn't orange..but the way the lighting was (and this fixture was on) and the way the flash hit it etc etc it came out kind of neat (i think). I didn't modify it outside of darkening it a tad (to keep the black black) and resizing. I'm just curious what "it" is considered...if anything. E.g. does this type of photo have a name.. if it does..is it abstract?

I'm not even close to capable of joining one of the competitions but I think I'm learning something by seeing the images that do join. They're amazing..and I admit to secretly trying to see what I can come up with that I'd enter if I was entering lol. In my lil dream world I see this one as "abstract" or "heat" ???

I think it could do well in either....Abstract or Heat.
