In a stubborn way, I havent photographed people during the 8mths I've been into photography. I kept saying to myself no people, especially weddings and definately no babies :p Anyway a friend wanted a simple snapshot to show a distant relative and in an unguarded moment I put my hand up.
Lens was the 50mm F1.8, Camera 350D, post processing was little aside from a crop, slight contrast adjustment and sharpening of the eyes. She was very embarassed, only let me take one shot before looking at the LCD and saying that'll do lol I just worred about light which was a window to the left, a window to the right and fill from the built-in flash. She's gorgeous and I'd love to have been able to shoot more with a less ID card/headshot pose.
Go easy, but by all means offer your thoughts/advice
