Hey, I'll be graduating from high school in a few weeks, and this means a lot of opportunities to take pics. What are some essential shots to take of these types of events? Trying to do homework beforehand and figure out what type of shots I want to take beforehand.

Usually the parents would want something when you are handed the diploma thing. I went to the graduation ceremonies for my friend's kis and they had these things out in the open without any shade and access blocked that I need a really long lens to get shot of his son.

Won't you be busy graduating? I don't think you could get many photos of the ceremony while you are in it.

Nah, afterwards theres about 30minutes where my friend and I will be snapping photos like mad (with me in those shots every so often), but I'd like to know if there are some classic prom/graduation shots that I'm unaware of.
