Very cool picture. Panos can be so good if done well. I think yours is done pretty well.

love it.
I put my sneakers on walking from end to end to see the whole picture and it was well worth the trip.
being as you like to hear whats *wrong* with a photo henk, I found something > : )
the thing sprouting out of the lady's forehead .....
c'est ? a greenhorn ??? ??
: )
the whole scene looks so calm , it actually feels like a dream of an evening seeing the sun reflecting on certain parts of the building......
may it always be so.

I really like this shot. It is hard to put together a good panorama when you have to deal with moving objects. I like the how the woman and child are possitioned in the center of the photo. Nice job.
My only suggestion is maybe you should erase some of the blurry flying birds. Some of the birds look nice, but a few of them are very blurry. Also, you might be able to use the clone tool to erase the scaffolding that appears to be sticking up from behind the left side of the building.

That's a very impressive panoramic shot Henk.
I have 2 questions.
1. How many individual shots in this pan ?
2. Can you show us a shot of the domed building on the right ?

Thanks for the comments, guys.
The picture was composed of 3 shots and was stiched together with Panorama factory, which I found to work better than Photostich. I only needed to make some corretions in the sky.
Thought about loning the birds, but they where such an integral part of my stay there, that I left them in.
There is no scaffolding on the square at all, just old buildings :-)
I was lucky though that I was able to take the shots without people appearing twice. Had to wait for about 5 minutes for an opportunity.
More pics (have even more if wanted) of the building on the right (the only mosque without minarets in the world, made for the harem of the sultan):

Thanks Henk for the extra shots of the mosque.
Excellent.
The entrance is most intricate and well taken.
You must surely have straightened the converging parallels ??
Well done.

Must admit that I'm not totally happy with the way I corrected the perspective in quite a few pictures. Since then though my knowledge of PS has increased quite a bit and I now need to find the time to correct all my silly mistakes. Most noticably in a few are a kind of barrel distortion, but if you check with the rulers the lines are straight. Will have to do some more work on those.
