Very nice shots - nice composition ....my only comment - isn't the 2nd shot a bit overexposed in the sky and distant houses esp for an HDR?

i agree with spike. these are very good and the pp is good too but the second one has some blown out areas.

Layer mask what is over exposed and I would love to see the results. I wish I could afford a trip to Venice, I've always wanted to take pictures there.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I see what you mean. Will work on that. I was sent to Italy for a business trip which didn't end up happening, so I got an expense-paid trip to Italy with no work required.

I'd like to see number two tried as a vertical because the reflections in the water are so great.
