Smoky Mountains

This is at the beginning of the rainbow falls trail in the Smoky Mountains
I have been trying to find three elements in all my photos, even though the woods didn't provide the third I was looking for I still like this one!
Shot with a ND filter, 17-40L, 5 exposures.

5 exposures separated by what EV interval? This scene seems like it was a fairly low DR scene, in terms of the lack of strong contrast and little in the way of specular hits. Can you post thumbnails of the exposure sequence? What was the rating of the ND filter?

It was dark with on & off rain that day then with the Hoya 77mm 8X (0.9) ND filter the shot needed mostly + EV. Shot -1 0 +1 +2 +3
