I'm nearing the point of taking the leap and signing on with smugmug. I've never used it, but I've decided I'd buy up another domain name to use for it (to include making a logo for said domain name). I'm curious to hear smugmug tips and tricks for creating a generally appealing site. I know that they vary wildly in appearance, so basic no-no's (i.e. don't use light text on light backgrounds) are also welcome. I'm not much of a designer so any ideas the community would like to share would be greatly welcomed.
If we get enough tips/tricks/do's/don'ts I'll compile them as a list in the top post for easy reading for others!!
Cheers!!

There's no trick/tips for Smugmug IMO, learn HTML/CSS. If you need help: http://www.dgrin.com/forumdisplay.php?f=31

I'm hoping there is an easier route than using HTML and CSS. I'm not a big fan of code. I can usually muttle my way through it, I just prefer to use an easy button when one if available.

Been reading it here for a while, thank you both. I'm suffering a wee from information overload from that site but it's a great link!!!
