Canon G3 auto-zoom not working

Anyone had similar problem? The auto-zoom won't work but i can use it manually. Auto-focus also works.
Any repair-instructions?

I also would like to know the lens-code of this G3, EF -something...

Now i got the zoom working, but the flash gives me just one opportunity to use it, and when it's done, i need to "reboot" the whole camera, before the flash works again (for 1 time). any ideas to repair this one? Any manuals how to repair an G3, i already have the service-manual, but it's really basicly only the parts list...
