As I was walking through walmart today I was thinking about how I was going to make a home made reflector, and then I stumbled across the window shades for vehicles.
This is the one I picked up;

Any ideas or anyone that has tried it? If it doesn't work I'll have a sunshade for my vehicle :)

If you would have purchased the same product in a camera/photography store
you would have paid 3-5 times the price and would have wound up with the same results.
It has always amazed me how well the US. marketers have accomplished that !
;) :) :D
Good shooting to Ya !!

White foam core from your local art store is cheap & makes an excellent reflector. There are many studio photoghers that take two 4x8 pieces and tape them together into a "V-flat" for full length shooting.
You can also take regular aluminum foil, crinkle it a little bit, and tape it to one side of the foam core. Now you have a 2 sided, white & silver reflector for around 5 bucks.

I took two pieces of foamcore (2 feet by 3 feet each), spray-glued a silvery fabric on one side of one of them, spray-glued a golden metallic fabric on one side of the other and they work great! My total cost was under $10.00 for both of them!
