This one literary made me stop in my tracks, big and ugly. hope you like.

it was the size of a grapefruit, when it stretched its legs out. I had been going back to this one spot, because i had seen a huge spider-web, very thick strands, the kind that can snag small birds. he was the owner of that web.

Wow baldeagle, great shots of a very interesting spider. I am tempted to move to Florida just for the insect variety. Seems like macro heaven.
