I have a Sharp XR-20X digital projector and am thinking about calibrating it with a Spyder 3 device. The problem is that the projector does not accurately reproduce color, especially reds and oranges and the the shadows with detail tend to come out very dark or black.
I have Spyder Pro software and so would have to buy the Elite upgrade for this to work. Before I do, I'd like to know if anyone has calibrated a projector with Spyder 3 Elite software and did it improve the projected image?
