Do you think this pic works in B&W? The origional is quite colourfull, but I didn't like it. The hat is bright yellow and blends into the white wall too much. So I thought I'd give this a go.

Its a great pic but would have to see colour to decide which is best. Maybe some selective colour against a B&W background but that is lots of effort in PS!

Works for me.

I've seen the others(in color) you've posted so assuming all the pictures will be part of a photo album of young squire, having a few in B&W will add a little diversity to the portfolio. IMHO

I don't have the time just atm to re-process that pic in colour. But here is a colour version from the sequence I took. As you can see I feel the hat it lost against the wall.

Cute Kid.
I like the color one better. The Yellow hat works better for me. The BW was a lttle too contrasty for me, it lacked midtones.

I like the last one the wood grain really showsup nicely with out taking away attention from the main subject.
