Hey peeps!

I've got a friend who needs advice. He is looking for a good flash for his Canon Rebel XS. He normally does location portrait photography. Any suggestions?

I'll really appreciate it! Thanks! :D

Depending on power requirements there are 3 options usually (starting at the cheapest):
1) Canon 430EX II
2) Sigma 530 DG Super
3) Canon 580EX II

All of which give full control over flash output levels as well as ETTL

Now i shall move on to research of these 3 flash accessories!

Thanks Neilwood32! :D

Check out the Yongnuo line of flashes, their newest model yn560 is comparable to the Canon 580 series but will cost less than $100

yongnuo 560 doesnt do e-ttl though. check out the yongnou 468.

*edit* sorry, I should add, if e-ttl is something they would be using. If not then it doesn't really matter :)
