I need to learn how to do this..I like the mix of BW and color, any tutorials around on this?

Use the magnetic lasso in PS to select one aspect of the image. Then go to 'Image', then 'Adjustments' and then 'channel mixer' and mess with the color in that dialogue box. An easier way to select can be to use the magic wand.

I definitely love the gray and blue color combination in the second image.

i just played around with the curves/brightness and contrast on PS nothing fancy.
