I'd take the texture from the other eye, flip it, and try using that as a luminosity source for cloning. Or stick it in Luminosity mode with some appropriate layer masking.

The best way is to avoid it in the first place.

Hang up a black drape in the place where the bright reflection showed.

Go under Filter->Pattern Maker to create your own "skin" pattern. Select a piece of the persons face with similar texture and shading of the eye skin. Create the pattern. Make a new blank layer. Choose the pattern tool and your newly created pattern, and start stamping out the glare. You can then change the opacity, blurriness, etc. of this fixing layer to make it look natural. I tried it on the little clip you posted and it worked out decent enough. Good luck.

A few minutes with the clone stamp. Sampled the skin above the eyeglasses for most of the glare and some of the darker portions around the eye at 50% Opacity to make the transition look natural.

I keep a set of jeweler's screwdrivers in my portrait supplies. We remove the lenses before the shoot, put them back in when we are done. My customer gets an eyeglasses cleaning and tune-up in the process - a win-win situation.

Yep, taking out the lens can work, but two weeks ago, I had a kid that would go cross-eyed if i did, so we did the best that we could. Great cleanup work guys.
