Hi All,

This isn't my first HDR Image, took many and been practising.

This one has turned out OK and thought I would share it here and catch any comments you may wish to make both positive and negative.

It was taken using 5 images from -4 to +4 in 2 stop steps.

Combined and Tone mapped in Photomatix from raw files then exported to Photoshop for some work with levels, saturation and sharpening.

Sorry about the watermark, saving my pennies for the software.

Thanks Ken,

I have tried to reproduce what I saw, perhaps the subject isn't that exciting or maybe my lack of flare/creativity doesn't help.

Actually, I think you did a good job as far as HD processing goes. It is very natural given the light from the windows and the dark of the interior.
Read this:

Unfortunately most people think of HDR as an effect...and usually overdone (or cooked as some like to say) at that.

No doudt it's an HDR. No way one EV 0 shot is going to have detail in the backs of the dark wood pews and in the light parts of the stain glass window. I say good job keeping it real. Although I love the illustrative processing for some subjects also.

Illustrative= What some people here call "cartooney" or "overcooked" and have really informative suggestions like "Try again".

I would just try to get a little bit of the grayness out of the whites. You have a nice shot to work with. Thanks for sharing.

I think it looks quite atmospheric, if the whites were too white then it could lose that. IMO I like it as it is.
