I work for a Haz-Mat Response company...these are pictures taken yesterday at a tractor-trailer wreck we responded to. They were taken with the company's 2.1 MP Sony Cybershot, so they are not of the best quality....wish I would have had my 20D. DRIVE SAFELY!

It took the emergency responders an hour to get him from the truck...all he got was a broken left arm. He should consider himself lucky.

In a wreck like that, luck can't help you. The only way to make it out of that alive is to be blessed.

It was milk he was hauling....6,000 gallons of milk. Needless to say, I don't want anymore milk for a long time.:D

very glad he is ok
looks like it was much too long a (swinging) load
I notice large trucks (over here) are getting longer and longer
thought it illegal over a certain lenght

was it very windy out ?
at first I thought they were plastic coverings for vegtables on the ground (second shot)
that just the truck cabin rolled over
( which was bad enough)

I am on the road for av 1000km per week, year round. I see wrecks. This guy was off-the-scale Lucky! IMHO the worst off (survival-wise) are the guys hauling refrigerated trailers. On impact the fridge motor unit, mtd on the front of the trailer, sheers off and comes thru the cab.

We have responded to a few where the driver didn't make it....those are the worst to work, but we still have to clean up the diesel and other hazardous materials.
