View Full Version : Baby Blocks?

Looking over some of the maternity adn newborn pics here, I've seen several with blocks in them, spelling "BABY" or the baby's name and so on. I thought these were just general "bulding blocks" but after looking at them, the colors seem softer and brighter, almost more pastel. Are these special blocks or repainted blocks? Where do you get them?

I use the blocks you get in the toy section...

Those I've seen and probably what I'll get if I can't find some others. The ones I saw where painted more pastel colors, as opposed to the store primary colors. Looked really nice for baby shots.

I just use my son's blocks from when he was little. You could also buy plain blocks from most craft stores (like Michael's) and paint them yourself.

The blocks come in primary and/or pastel colors. I bought mine (pastels) at Target with a neat little canvas bag to store them.
