Reversed kit lense wasp

After seeing all the reversed lens posts, I decided to give it a go. Used the 18-55mm kit lens set at 55mm, tried not to get too close because he was an aggressive little sod :lol:

I'll give it another go when I get more time.

The whites are washed, or hot, but you may have been after that high-key feel anyway.
Nice comp and details, although I do wish that the upper wing was not clipped, or so close to the edge.

Still a very cool shot!!

I wish the wing wasn't clipped too but I'm happy with the way it came out considering I was trying to hold the lens against the body!

its not a wasp.....its a hover fly.............. it's only defence is that it looks like a wasp,
so you were perfectly safe ;)
