I purchased mine from NewEgg for 145.00, $150.94 with shipping.

Ive dealt with newegg a few times and always had great service, even on the one item that arrived DOA (a dvd player). I had to send it to the manufacture and they credited me the cost of shipping it to the manufacturer.

Love mine as well, gives the camera a much more stable feel with larger lenses on also.

Not to mention the added number of photos without a recharge. Had mine for several months and it is a great addition to a nice camera. Got it for the additional shotting time because I have small hands and the 360d felt great to me anyway.

The grip is a great accesory for the XT, makes it heavier, bigger, the grip is now longer so you can hold it better. I have to say it is pretty sexy!

Mine arrived this morning after a months wait. (They are in very short supply in the UK)

Very pleased with it, the ugly duckling just became a swan.

I don't end up with an arthritic twisted hand taking vertical shots, I don't worry about battery life and your'e right...it looks quite sexy!

Mine's due to arrive on Monday - hopefully! £102 inc. delivery and would have been next day, but ordered late on a Thurdsday.

I'm writing a detailed review as we speak and personally found the lack of online images of the grip fitted to the camera frustrating so I've taken the law into my own hands.

Here are 3 shots of the grip attached:

nice one bachscuttler - I know what you mean about images online, I could only find a few small shots.
could we have one end on (showing dial)?

I love my grip too! It balances well with the tele (80-200/2.8).

Awesome awesome investement... I can't imagine how I used my EOS 350D for several months without this. Bought extra batteries too and I can use the camera for almost 5 days without charging... (of course I'm more of the casual photographer than a professional one) I can't stop grinning now.

I've got just about every angle covered in the review which I am hoping to finish tonight then I'll post it here.

If anyone has any tips or gripes with the grip, please post them here before or after I publish the review and I'll add them in as I am doing a pro's and con's page.

I'm now sitting at my folks house and they didn't tell me my grip turned up yesterday (early - got it delivered there), so I'm sat with a grip and my camera body's at home  (misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=9#)

Does anyone know if the NB2-2LH and AA magazines are available for purchase seperately?
