I've been using Pekka's noise reduction action (from his D60 LinearSharpen action) with great success. On the other hand, I've never tried Neat Image. Has anyone tried both? How does HQ Noise Blur compare?

Thanks,

Ok. If no one's tried them both, has anyone tried Neat Image? What did you think?

I've tried Neatimage. It's actually quite good.
Will Pekka's HQ Noise Blur work on a G3 image?

I don't see why not. Give it a try. One thing I've found is that it seems to work slightly better in 16-bit than in 8-bit. If you try it, do let me know how you think it compares to Neatimage.

Thanks.

BTW, my favourite so far is the noise removal in Breezebrowser...
Do you have a link to Pekka's HQ Noise Blur?

HQ Noise Blur is part of D60 LS Action:

Hello,
This is my first post, I've been lurking for a few weeks, and I finally decided to register. I have a G2, 420ex flash, and a Kenko KNT-20. The flash and teleconverter I decided to buy after reading about them in the G2 section.

Anyway, to get back to the subject at hand, I've tried the Breezebrowzer noise reduction and Neat Image. Neat Image is by far the better noise reducer, but is also by far the harder one to use. You really have to read the readme files and follow the Help file to be able to use it effectively.
