These are wonderful wedding pics. As asked earlier, are these shot on Manual (as the white dress would tend to underexpose) and/or are you using the RAW file format? What flash unit are you using?

All shots were taken using the Super Fine setting, the falsh used was the built in one and to the dress like it is i used the high-light and shadow tool in PSC2. I have done another wedding since but thi time i used an off camera flash and am very pleased with the results, i will share with you all when i've put them through PCS2...??

Moving to Dslr...I never even though possible in the next 3-5 years, but as the events unfolded, oportunities showed themselfs, I guess I just found myself on that stage. The camera was offered by a lifelong best friend for whom I was there when he was in need and the reason he offered me that was because of the chance for me to work with a professional photographer. I started with my G6, as you have seen some photos, and now moving to a 20D. It is really like night and day but I do miss some things that were there when shooting with my G6, like looking at the photos on the LCD before you take them (100% view), one lens to do it all, the swivelling LCD and the way I learned to use my G6 (i knew where everything was), now I have to go through that with my 20D and read the manual, the things that I already did and gotta say I love my new toy!
I gotta learn using my external flash on the manual mode (my full control) and I plan to buy the 580ex, I think the camera deserves that as a companion...I bought the 420ex for my G6 but now I plan to use it as a slave when I buy the 580ex to make like a small portrait studio home for my friends and family, also plan to use my Lumiquest pocketbouncers...testing testing and in the end getting good final results.
I also plan to shoot weddings in the future...I'll ask for your advice...;) .
If you can afford it, think of moving to a dSLR....
My regars,
Artan

.....all the best to you in the near future on your new ventures, i would like to own a dslr now because of the benefits but because cash would be tight i would get the Canon 350 because it has near enough the same megapixel and it has the same sensor too but that looks more like a dream than reality but you never know.
As for asking me for advice on wedding pics i don't think you need to get advice from me with the qaulity of work you produce already, but the only advice i can give you is just practice, practice and more practice...?? All i do is get my kids outside and set the cam up for fill flash shots with the built in camera and the off camera flash and make notes of the settings and eventualy it will become second nature......Good luck and we all look forward to seeing some even better work with your new excelent toy.....:D ;)
