irfanView Question...

Thanks to Colin, I just downloaded irfanView software in replacement of DoomBrowser (sic). Have a question..when I select the irfanView Icon on my Desktop, the program comes up as a blank screen. Then manually, I have to go to File/Open to gain access to my Thumbnails on my hard drive. Does anybody know how to reset the default for irfanView to automatically show Thumbnails on the screen as soon as I boot the software..versus manually going to File/Open?
Have gone through the different settings and can't seem to figure out how to do this.
Also FYI as often reported..this software is a major improvement over Zoombrowser 4.0.

You can do this with the command line option /thumbs. Amend the target shown in the properties window of the IrfanView desktop shortcut by adding " /thumbs" (without the quotes and including the leading space) after the final quote of the target string.
