Hey all, in the interest of full disclosure, I just started this thread (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=874344) and I wasn't sure if I should post both these topics in one thread, they are similar, but I was afraid people would forget about one or the other. So if a mod feels the need to merge the two threads, I would completely understand. Anyway, to the topic at hand. After having a PowerShot A530 for almost 5 years, and taking some pretty decent pictures with it, it started having technical problems as well as a dramatic reduction in picture quality. So it has now been replaced with a PowerShot SX200 IS.
Someday within the next couple of years I would like to get a Rebel Ti or something better, but I realize that will be a little too much camera for my level (or lack thereof) of expertise. So I would like to start getting deeper into the different settings available on the SX200, and find ways to get better quality pictures while learning more about photography.
So, I'm looking for any helpful hint's tips, and sources any of you may be privy to. Thanks in advance!
