Just a couple fom an event I was at in Scotland last weekend. Not overly impressed with these, I don't think they're as sharp as I could have got them :(

was my clunky (but tried and tested!) old 75-300 f4-5.6 for all except number 3 - that was an even older 28-80 f3.5-5.6

must have had an off day

I'll keep at it!

The venue was Kames Motorsport Complex in Muirkirk, approx 30 miles south of Glasgow. Used to be an old Kart track (very tight, very narrow) and is now used for sprints.

The Clio is pretty good, and in this case I think you can quietly blame the gear. I used two different L lenses on the weekend, the 70-200 2.8 IS and the 300 F4 IS and all but one of the 10 or so shots were out of OOF, I couldn't even hear the 300 tracking.

G'luck with it Dave, I enjoy seeing your UK shots

Thanks Jake - I've got a handful more to sort out from Brands Hatch today
