Whenever I click on a link my browser (IE on winXP box) a new browser window is opened, this is nice - however....
The new window is the size of a postage stamp! I constantly have to resize it, every time!!!
How can I fix this so it will open to the full size?
P.S. I tried a google search...... any idea how many results you get for "browser window" ;)

Get Firefox. :wink:
Seriously, if you desire to live with IE this is one of the things that it does. I would try a few things: When it comes up too small grab a corner of the window and make it much larger. THEN click on the Maximize button in the top right corner. (IE may "remember" this not-maximized size for you and then start in this size if it refuses to come up maximized.) Also, right-click on the icon, choose properties, and set it to Maximize. Not that it may still refuse to come up maximized when started by means other than the icon.

Start Regedit
Go to HKey_Current_User / Software / Microsoft / Internet Explorer / Main
Delete or rename the key Window_Placement
Restart IE
or open Notepad, copy this text to it, save as IE_window_reset.reg, run that file.
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Window_Placement"=-
This will reset the IE window size to the default size.

Yeah, what he said. And he said it 4 hours ago so you've probably had it running for about 3 hours and 55 minutes now.
