I need a good photo editor to edit my photos. My photoshop dissapeared and I am having problems getting it back, so any ideas for a good program. Maybe even online. These are my photos of my precious niece that I took recently. I want to make them look extra beautiful.

Picassa? Gimp? How did you "lose" Photoshop?
Photoshop Elements is good too, and quite a bit less expensive than "real" Photoshop.

In the future, if you REALLY want the shots to look "extra beautiful", work on your lighting rather than relying on post-processing. I see lots of direct, harsh flash in your shots. Get a speedlight and bounce it on the walls/ceilings. Photography is all about light and nailing that light is the key to "extra beautiful" photos.

Thank you for the advice. I just recently bought myself a canon speedlight flash. The bouncing of the wall trick is amazing, leaves a shadow too :).

Do you have any ideas how to make the eyes look amazing. I see beautiful pictures of children, but their eyes seem to shine and look sooo beautiful. How do photographers do it. I thought they photoshop the eyes, but that is partly not true. I really want my niece's eyes to stand out.

It's all in the lighting...

It just disapeared. I serached for it, but it seems to be gone. I never uninstalled the program and it worked just fine, untill a few weeks ago were it just dissapeared into the blue. I find that strange.

You can always download the free trial for 30 days and test out different versions. They all offer free trials. However, I"m unbelievably curious about what photoshop you had been using before it disappeared. Which Photoshop software were you using? did you like it? did it work well for you?

I used Photoshop CS4. It was the best program I'v ever used. Photoshop does amazing things and to me photoshop is magical. The fact that you can change the eye colour is cool. I would love to have photoshop for ever, but I will try the trials thank you.

Just reinstall it from the media and get the license from Adobe. I'm sure they will be willing to help. You did buy it legally, right? Seems weird to just toss ~$500 down the drain.

Sorry I meant CS3. We used CS2 in my college and I loved it so I decided to buy a newer version of it. My friend will try and help me get it back, he is a xomputer whizz :).
