The Canon Pro1 user’s guide recommends the use of the
Conversion Lens Adapter LA-DC58C
for mounting accessories as the
Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX flash
or the
Close-up Lens 500D (58 mm)
On pg. 178 of the Canon Pro1 user’s guide you can read:
“You are recommended to use Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX or Macro Twin Lite MT- 24EX for flash photography with the closeup lens mounted on the camera.”
Nevertheless, there is a Pro1 user that is unable to mount the Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX flash and the Close-up Lens 500D together. He started a thread about this issue in other forum.
As I am interested in the above mentioned accessories, I would like to confirm if some of you are using the flash+close-up combination.
A description of how to mount the three accessories together or the reasons that prevents its use as described in the manual would be even better.
Thanks in advance.
