Here is a blog acknowledging and honoring photographer Francis Wolff. Wolff is credited for over thirty years album covers and photojournalism for the iconic jazz record company, Blue Note Records.

Hopefully this blog can offer a small glimpse of a true innovative style of photographing musicians at work.

Enjoy!

I would suggest the same as @narlus . There are a couple of books released on Blue Note Records that highlights Wolff's extensive body of work. Unfortunately, there isn't much (if any) documentation on his personal life outside of his roles at Blue Note. I often wondered how he was introduced to and trained in photography.
