I might leave an insignificant other, but why in the world would you ask? Persons are one-of-a-kind, cameras are only differentiated by their serial nunbers. I suggest you sleep with your camera one night and then your significant other the next night. You will then have your answer.

I think it all depends on how significant your other is!

I don't think I would with mine but then again photography is only a hobby to me.

I think you need to reverse the question and ask if your significant other would leave you if you were to pursue photography as I'm sure many of us here can attest to the fact that making pretty regular four figure purchases can add some tension sometimes ;)

If you would leave your S.O. for photography, then I'm assuming s/he was not that significant. My wife was the only who actually got my back into photography, and would give it up in a second for her.

No.. No way for many of the reasons listed. I'm lucky however, though my SO is not herself into photography, she enjoys our photoutings and is a really good photo partner.

nope, I would not leave my fiance to pursue photography. however I would also not be engaged to (or marry) someone who would make that kind of ultimatum.

I wouldn't leave my SO for any reason till death do us part. My god man, bored out of your skull or not, this is a lame question. I submit, if anyone here answers yes, they should inform their SO and let them do the leaving.
