Went on a poker run to aid a local Children's Asthma Camp. Ther was a bike show afterwards and I was pleased by the number of Sportster customs that showed up.

This one was a bit of a rat, but it has potential...

This guy entered his Buell Blast Bobbed Rat bike in the Sportster category

LOL on the RAT Chopper. I really like the style of the second Bike, and judging by the third and fourth photos, I'd say you did too. ;) Those flappers at the ends of the pipes should come in real handy when shutting it down on those cool mornings to prevent sucking cold air into the engine and warping valves.
There are more here that I like, but my short attention span prevents me from commenting on more than three or four at a time. :D

Nice shots Vett. My only question is - how can YOU get so many shots on the one posting, when I seem to be limited to 2 uploads per post? BTW, nearly all those bikes would be illegal in Australia. No front guards, no mufflers, no mirrors etc etc. Sheese - talk about uncomfortable rides! ;)

Steve,

I am not uploading pictures, I am hosting them on my own website and just hotlinking them here to show people. You can do the same if you find a web host.

To post a picture that is uploaded , you simply get the URL of the photo (ie http:// www. yourphotohost. com/ YourPicture.jpg ) and place it between the image tags and [/img ] like this
[img ]http:// www. yourphotohost. com/ YourPicture. jpg [/img ][img]http://%20www.%20yourphotohost.%20com/%20YourPicture.jpg%20%5B/img%20%5D

I placed extra spaces in the example above so the forum doesn't see it as a real picture. To actually post a picture, make sure there are no spaces.

Vetteography.
Thanks for the info. I'll get myself an ISP hosted seb-site one of these days.
Cheers,

BTW - Vetteography? Maybe CorVette+PhotOgraphy?

That was the idea when I signed up. I like cars, drive a Vette and attend a lot of shows. Did a few car shoots for fellow drivers.

So - did you do the poker run on 2 wheels or 4?
And if on 2, what's your ride? (Could be a V(eloc)ette!) :)

Ha! I did it on two wheels... the only thing I like better than driving my Vette is riding my bike. The latest bike is an 05 Sporty that I am customizing. Going to do the 1200 or 1250 conversion once the weather turns cold. In the mean time, I am chopping the fenders, dropping in some hotter cams, A/C, Pipes, forward controls, drag bars, ditching the extraneous lights etc.

Going for a cafe/drag look. Got tired of the cruising (or hit my mid-life depending on who you ask) and sold my 90 FLHS a while back, bought a faster, more maneuverable bike.
