They were doing a litte water skiing on the river this afternoon and I was able to get a couple of shots.
Throwing up a good wake.

Naw..it's so much fun. I just love that feeling as you pull back on the rope, sweep the ski out from under you and carve it across the wake.

Yeah! then you drag too much slack, straighten up and the boat rips your arms off, helluva good time when your twenty, not when your 39 though. Gave up the ski about 2 yrs ago because it and my back couldn't get along. lol
Sandy, great shots, really like the first one...........Joe

How do you like that sigma? I am in the market for a new lens in that focal range to replace my kit lens.

Love it, for the price I don't think it can be beat. I bought mine through B&H Photo
here is a review of it. I have found it to be over all sharp, it does tend to be a little soft at the extrems but not to bad.

Thanks Marie; Right now I wish I was in there with them, get out of this hot humid weather. Least it feels cool looking at the photo    I was really lucky on that first one, they were coming at me real fast so I had to keep zooming in and out to keep them in frame :)
