I plan to take either my Canon 5DII or the 1DIII to an Indian classical instrumental music concert. My fastest lens are the 28-70mm f2.8L and the 100mm f2.8L IS macro lens. Will my 70-200mm f4L IS be too slow. The concert will be in a school auditorium. I have no idea of the lighting there.
Any suggestions and advice?
PS the 100mmf2.8macro can focus upto infinity also

Bring all of them and you will see.

This is probably your best bet if you don't care about lugging around a lot of gear. I would guess the 70-200 handheld would be no easy feat in a high school auditorium, especially at the longer end where camera shake will be made more dramatic. That said I have no idea the lighting of the auditorium, even with your 2.8's you might be struggling.

If Ansel Adams could carry his gear, you can carry yours too.
