Probably not what you're looking for, but these are very good in my opinion:

We also use a Nescafé Dolce Gusto which takes PODs, I don't know what the equivalent would be in the USA but here's a link to the type of machine:

I have a Keurig single serve brewer and love it. If you want a cup of coffee you push a button and 30 seconds later you've got it. Fresh brewed every time. None of that stale, been on the warmer all morning, coffee.

I've had a Keurig brewer for about 5 years. It makes a good cup of coffee and the variety of K-Cups is huge.

My question is it more expensive to buy the cups or would it be better to buy a regular machine

I get the K-cups through Amazon for about 35 cents each.

I have a camera and i drink coffee. we go through more coffee makers than cameras. the coffeemakers take longer to load, the cameras make pictures and the coffee makers don't. We currently have a cuisinart and it is very shiny and cool. I don't know what it cost, my daughters bought it for us. We also bought the cuisinart grinder, and it is cool also. it makes a noise that actually wakes me up inthe morning, like a dog responding to a bell or a colored lightbulb. It doesn't take pictures either, but my camera isn't very good at grinding beans. The coffee is very good and it seems like a well built machine that will last longer than the black and deckers and mr. coffee's we have had in the past.
When I was single, I made my coffee with a hand grinder, a funnel and paper filters. That was very cheap, and the coffee was excellent.

As was I. I think we connected the two sufficiently to avoid the wrath of the mod's.

I buy this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0029XDZFS/ref=rcx_subs_dp coffee through the "Subscribe and Save" program at Amazon. S&S gives you a 15% discount and free shipping. That brings the price down to $17.85 shipped for 50 k-cups. You have to sign up for a scheduled delivery such as one a month, one every other month, etc., but you can cancel it at any time.
