Wow Zeke, that looks like quite a package. It's actually identical to the package I intend to buy soon. :D
Can I ask where you bought it? I'm also in Australia, and it seems a LOT cheaper to buy from overseas, although I'm unsure about warranty issues with that.

Nice.
My XT, Tamron 28-75, Canon 50 f/1.8, Sigma EF-500 and 2gb Ultra II just came in on Friday. I need to put my camera down and work on my homework but I can't resist :(

I bought from www.dirtcheapcameras.com.au - they were considerable cheaper than the next best Australian stockist I could find.
I was also wary of buying from overseas due to warranty/customs/duty concerns.

I just purchased the same package locally in Perth. I asked a local camera shop to match the www.dirtcheapcameras.com.au price and they did. So, no waiting, no delivery charges and I was also able to spend an afternoon thoroughly testing the lens/camera combination using Imatest before purchasing.
As a die hard (30 years!) Minolta SLR and then D7i digi user I sort of had to undergo a religious conversion but I'm over it now and I am in camera heaven although I sense a bad case of "L" lust setting in!

I wish I have enough cash flow to receive a new item every week. That feeling is better than being on drugs..( I would think it is... )
