I took this shot, but I dont know what they are, please help.

I'm afraid I can't really make heads or tails from the image... very odd critters.. a little scorpion like.. but I really have no clue if they are insect.. arachnid or what..

How large were they?

They look more like a "mite" ie: almost microscopic critter.. than an insect.

Well Bald Eagle, is a jungle out there in Florida. Do you have another view?

Great capture! Looks like there are two of them. They look like Ambush Bugs to me.

They a type of mantis? they look pretty stealthy. Took a while to pick up that there was infact two critters.

No, they are a type of assassin bug.

I really do appreciate all the efforts, And kind words. Unfortunately i dont have a better image, I could only take one or two shots before it started pouring here. There are two, they appear to be mating and they are extremely small. Leorooster, i tend to agree with you, but, I truly have never seen this kind before, very strange.

I'll agree on the ambush bug.Don't think I've ever seen one around here. Great shot, and well timed to catch it emerging from its shell.
