Hi

I am a nikon user looking to move over to canon . I have done a lot of searching so that I get the correct lens, camera for what I need to do. The 1Ds is the camera..the lens are the 100 2.8 macro..70-200 2.8 USM IS and the 16-35 2.8 USM. I hope I got the descriptions correct..I am trying to remember off the top of my head. I tried a search but couldn't find any details about what works best with the 1Ds in regards to flash. My use will be for outdoor lifestyle shoots..mainly for fill flash. This will be quick shooting in (possible)changing lighting environments as the model moves. I have no experience with canon flash systems..so throw me your suggestions

thanks

Easy..... 550EX. it's an amazing flash. It interfaces with the cameras perfectly. If you are looking for a non canon flash go with a Metz. Need more light still? Quantum makes some real powerhouses. I've never needed more power than the canon gives. I use mine with a Quantum turbo battery and I shoot all day with great recycle times. Good luck to you.
