Apologies if it looks a little pompous with the name and frame, I've been playing around with post processing and presenting my snaps electronically yesterday and got a little carried away I think...

I like the frame and signature too, finishes the picture off nicely.

It's great.... The black backgound really sets off the bird.. Nice sharp detail too..

What lens? Amazing shot... you pompous bastard! hehe... Actually, that's probably one of the more tactful frames I've seen.

Thanks for the comments. To answer a couple of the questions: the bird was in some light undergrowth on a sunny day and was flitting between sun and deep shade. I took a series of shots, mostly at the long end of the 430mm zoom on a wide aperture (3.7 at 432 is max on S2 I think).

There was a fence about 4 ft behind the bird. Of 20 shots, only 2 had the black background and I thought they were my falsh shots (I did 2 to test) but not according to the EXIF...
