EE is cool but....

I think one of the biggest flaws is not having global categories. In other words, if you have a "mountains" category it only returns photos in the current exhibition that belong to "mountains", and if you are in another gallery, it returns "no images found".

I also have tried to pay for this software, but cannot find the price in the readme.txt file per the agreement.

EE will keep the search criteria (in which category is one part) when you change exhibitions. Next version (working on it) has an exhibition selection "all exhibitions combined" which is an automatic combination of all exhibitions, so search you described can be done with one go.

1.22 is free and 1.3RC and later are $35 (all updates of course included). You can now use donate link in http://photography-on-the.net/ee/ to register EE 1.3.

Thanks pekka, although I plan (and have already) on changing the code to my liking, you have done all the hard work, and of course deserve to be paid.

Also with regard to the global categories, very good!!
