Does anyone know the LUMIX Venus Engine II and Vinus Engine III

Hi, Im planing on purchasing the LUMIX DMC-FX7 or the DMC-FX9 which is a newer camera. The concern I have is the FX9 has a newer image anging the Venus Engine III wich has a better battery usage but how is the image quality compared to the FX7? Does anyone know?
