Photostitch Problem???

Hi,

I've gotten hooked on panoramas and have been using photostitch with no apparent problems until I tried stitching together approximately 9 large jpeg files. The merge preview looked fine but when I tried to save the resulting file either mysteriously wrapped around about 7 files into the merge or it just left it blank (black) at around the same point (ie 7 files). Does anyone know if there is a size limitation that I am running into and is this a known bug for very large files?

I am running version3.1 on a win 98SE machine with a 1ghz pentium and about 400mb of ram. Is there any support on this utility or should I go with some commercial alternative to handle large file sizes?

sounds weird. Try another photo stitching program and see what happens.

It might be due to a Windows limitation: there is a limit of 256 MB maximum heap size in Windows 98. I know of another stitcher that fell over for image sizes in excess of 64MP for this reason. It was ok on WinXP.
