Hi. I would like to solicit some suggestions from you guys. I am going to cover a wedding in two months and I am having problems thinking about how I will pose them. You see, the groom is 6 foot 5 and the bride is barely 5 feet. How should I pose them without making it look too odd? I am more concerned on the formals. Maybe its okay to add a little humor (wacky poses) on the non-formal. Can someone post some samples of if there's any? :) TIA.

I suggest have them sit down..........or on the ground.........

pros shamelessly use stools all the time to tweak height mismatches!

There can be nice sitting photographs in various different poses. There are lot more help available online. Don't worry, you will be having nice wedding and great wedding photographs.

A couple of ideas are to use a nice stairs to your favor leveling the bride a bit, some half body shots with the bride standing on some kind of box (apple box ej)

I know it is an old thread but for people who ask the same question now I would say this: pose them as they are - the bride might not take kindly to being asked to use steps or boxes to level out heights. The couple will be quite aware of their height differences and I'm sure they will be comfortable with them. I am 6'4" and my wife is 5' and our wedding photos looked fine with us at our proper heights.
