This is an Eastern Rosella. In my extended lunch hour today.
I am improving, I know I am, thank you Mr EOS! Last years pix were not even close to this quality.

I like to think about Roan who sold the 10D to me. In his galleries his pics are of Central Park NYC etc... and now I have it here in the common ol' Aussie scrub. LOL.

When flying / gliding the color underwing is pure Disneyland. I tried to get in-flight pics but there wasn't enough light for AF. ST-E2 required! Will try again soon.

Went by the huge enclosure after soccer Saturday morning and got some more:

They mate for life (i think) and one of them has accidentally got thru the double doors to the outside world. (sigh) Some symbolism here...
