CA, Purple Fringing and Flare Problem

Does anybody know if adding a polarizer filter to lens can reduce the problem of CA, purple fringing and flare? I know the UV filter works with flare, but I rather buy a polarizer filter since it can achieve effects that are hard to correct in PS

Will make little diference im afraid. a ND filter will reduce the effect a bit as will stopping down help!
