imported versus USA?

I'm looking into buying fill flash...either the 550 or the 580 EX for my 20D. I often purchase from B&H, so I perused their website today. Looks like they offer both imported or US with a price difference of $10.

Is there a quality difference, or not really? Just covering my bases before I drop another $400 on equipment. ;)

Quality is the same the difference is the warranty that is the difference. The gray market ones is not honor by the USA service centers.

You're buying a flash, flash fill is a technique not a product.
