I know I'm going to get 'revved' about this, but another sub forum on 'LR Enfuse' would work. So many people I speak to are not even aware of what it is. Capturing your images, be it 3 , 6, 11 or whatever happens the same as HDR, but the end result with the LR 'enfuse' plugin makes the combined result as natural as the original. Yes, I really dislike the weird tone mapping effects of progs. like photomatix, etc.

Been a great fan of LR/Enfuse for a long while. I'll usually try that and SNS-HDR to see which gives the best result. About half and half at present.

i've tried enfuse and photomatix and i prefer the look of enfuse also ... for those that havent tried both here is the same image with photomatix (not edited at all, just tone mapped thats all) and second one is with enfuse (image adjusted slightly in lightroom i think)

i cant decide which image i like better. i like the colors in the photomatix one. maybe one in between the two would be perfect :P

Yeah what if you took the first one and adjusted the transparency settings on that layer over top of the second one to get a nice in between combo...
