what setting should i play with? contrast?

Up the contrast a little, up the black and rotate it about four or five degrees clockwise, maybe a little less. Turn on your grid as you rotate so that the lines are horizontal (on the shelf).

Also, turn on your IMAGE EDITING OK in your profile so that others can show you what can be done in their way. It's fun. Sometimes you'll think, "wow, that's great" and other times you'll think, "eww, that's nasty."

Either way, it's good to see what others can do. That picture can be worked with.

PS. it needs sharpening too.
