Very nice shot. On this monitor, and it may be this LCD since I am not at home, the water looks blown from the top of the picture to almost the bridge. It looks like someone cut that area right out of the picture and left a white background. I am not sure why this is as the rocks do not appear to have any large amount of light on them. I realize you were going for flow, but perhaps a little too long on the shutter.

What setting did you use?

It does look a tad overexposed as you have lost all your highlights, try lowering the levels a bit. I have been to this spot and it is a darker area anyway, so bring it down and you might regain some detail.

My secret waterfall editing method has been revealed...

The problem is that the upper section of the falls receive much more light than the bottom. But you are correct, the upper section is blown. I will have to re-shoot the image to get a useable photo I think, which is not a big problem since it's fairly close to home.

Settings:

Aperture value: F 20.00
Exposure time: 1/1 s
Focal length: 18.00 mm
ISO speed ratings: 100

I think I have to step up my search for an ND filter too.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. I know flowing water can be done (like I know flash pictures can be taken) so I will go back and practice some more...
