Does anyone know this lizard ? Is this common ? Its my first time to see a green lizard :-)
Both taken with 100mm macro lens, iso1600, handheld. First one at 1/15s, second at 1/25s. f4.5 for a very shallow DOF.
Comments appriciated :-)

I don't know the lizard's ID either but the color contrast is excellent! Raj, you really have steady hands! :D did u focus manually in this type of narrow DOF situation?

Love that second shot. Could it be some kind of anole, Anolis sp.?

Nice shot. I am guessing but it looks alot like a Gecko. It does bear a resemblence to one of the Pelsuma spp. or Day Gecko, but the toe structure is wrong. This animal's toes terminate with with a long nail, whereas day geckos have stubby, grippy toes. It's head doesn't seem poity enough to be a Anole, though. Maybe one of our lizard expert members can help.

I'm no expert, but my guess is chameleon, although it looks like the GEICO gecko in the TV commercials.

It's a Green Anole.

Def a green anole, long slender fingers. Geckos tend to have fatter fingers for there sticky pads to climb walls.
Great shots though
